Anne Paceo Sextet + Chorale

Anne Paceo, associate artist at Les Gémeaux, continues her journey to meet the public with Breath & Whisper. Celebrated as one of the most brilliant jazz composers and percussionists of her generation, she is also committed to sharing and spreading her work. Breath & Whisper brings together the artist’s sextet and singers from all walks of life in an ambitious XXL choir project. After Melting Three, which proposed a dialogue between recognized artists and young local artists, Anne Paceo calls on young singers enrolled in the Conservatories of the territory, the choirs of the Social and Cultural Center of Blagis and the MJC. They will perform new pieces, written especially for the ensemble, as well as pieces from Anne Paceo’s repertoire. An exceptional moment of sharing for an artist who has placed the voice at the heart of her work for several years.
